DJ HERO – Breaks/Electro
Illeven eleven, Solitude Studios "Perfect yourself in Solitude, prove yourself in public"
After taking his name in ‘96, Hero began his career as a DJ playing house, breaks, trance, and just about everything in between and soon found his love for breaks. After playing up and down the east coast, holding residencies in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, and playing countless gigs around the greater southeast, Hero decided it was time to change his focus to producing his own music. In 2000, DJ Hero started Solitude Studios, locked himself behind closed doors, studied, read, and practiced, producing whatever came to his mind. Hero hooked up with Huda Hudia, founder of Kaleidoscope Music, where he engineered and produced many releases to come from Kaleidoscope Music. In 2008, DJ Hero hooked up with DJ Vanish, and began Velcro City Records, as well as expanded the services of Solitude Studios to artist development, audio engineering, sound design, and mixing and mastering. Together, Hero and Vanish, work hard to provide quality dance music to the scene they love so much. In 2010, DJ Hero was given tier one artist status on
www.beatport.com, the largest distributor of digital dance music in the world, placing him in the top 20% of artists globally. 2011 proved to be a good year as DJ Hero left Velcro City Records to team up with Illeven Eleven, home to Keith MacKenzie, DJ Fixx, Curtis B, Ill DJ Chris B, DJ Infiniti, and more. Over the years, DJ Hero has worked with Huda Hudia, Dave Aude, DJ Volume, Keith Mackenzie, Ferry Corsten, Calvertron, Lazy Rich, Oh Shit!, Simply Jeff, Dave London, Tony Faline, DJ Fixx, Mars, Micky D, Messinian, Whiskey Pete, mLe, and many more. Today Hero focuses on producing party breaks, music that he considers fun for any dance floor. DJ Hero has assumed many names over the years, as he releases music of various genres. You can have a listen to his other works under names like Bruce Dickinson, Arch Nemesis, and John Bradley.

Forensic - Progressive
ANTH3M / FSL
Forensic (Joe Bobnick) hails originally from the East Coast where he began spinning while at University in Syracuse, NY. Moving to Boston upon graduation in 1995, Forensic continued to spin EBM and began to venture into other genres of electronica which included goa trance, gabber, and acid techno. Looking to pinpoint his sound, Forensic came to the realization that the dark emotion and aggression of Industrial and the stimulating sound of trance, although polar opposites, were his passion.
Relocating to Saint Louis in 2001, Forensic quickly became known for his multidimensional taste in music and spins at a variety of different nights and events. While still spinning in the EBM/Industrial scene Forensic began to focus on his own night that promoted Progressive House and Trance called ANTH3M. With the success of ANTH3M and an off-shoot night called R3WIND, Forensic continued to bring local crowds the energetic vibe of all things electronic.
Forensic is known for being animated behind the decks due to his enjoyment of the music he spins. His passion was evident to others as he was nominated for Best DJ in the Riverfront Times music poll for 2011. The year 2012 promises to be big for Forensic as ANTH3M will resurface as a monthly club night along with a monthly podcast. Stay tuned.
